More Olympus Features
from: ConsumerEvidence.comThe Olympus digital camera comes with more features, among which are:
• In-body Image Stabilization. This built-in system compensates for up to 4 shutter speed steps with any of the system’s interchangeable lenses.
• Mechanical Image Stabilization. You can automatically compensate for camera shake in low-light situations or when using a telephoto lens.
• Electronic Image Stabilization. This compensates for camera shake while shooting in the video mode.
• MF Assist. For accurate manual focusing, you can enable the MF Assist during S-AF + MF operation. You can zoom in on the central part of the image as high as five times its normal distance just by turning the focus ring.
• Perfect Shot Preview. You can preview and select various photographic effects before you take the picture and press the button.
• Digital Leveler. This function proves to be a highly functional and practical feature especially for specialized requirements as architectural photography and other similar requirements.
• Dust Reduction System. You can be assured of spot-free images because every time you use the camera, the patented Supersonic Wave Filter silently vibrates. This allows the dust to steer towards a designated area before you take the shot.
• 19 automatic scene modes. Among the modes available are the night-scenes, portraits, and landscapes. You can edit the picture in the camera by using the handy ePortrait Mode.
• ePortrait. The mode is also useful for smoothing out the facial features of your subjects. This is an incredible plus especially for High Definition playback.
